FHSV Meißen, founded in 1992, is a public university of public administration seated in Meissen, Saxony. It provides training to more than 500 students who seek a career at the upper functional level of the administrative and judicial system of the Free State of Saxony. The training encompasses the following fields: General Administration, Social Administration and Social Insurance, Tax Administration and Public Administration, as well as Administration of Justice. The University offers study programs at Diploma, Bachelor’s, and Master’s level. The Diploma programs on offer are “Public Administration“ (Dipl.-Verww. (FH)), “Tax Administration“ (Dipl.-Finw. (FH), and “Administration of Justice“ (Dipl.-Rpfl. (FH). The scope of Bachelor studies includes the study programs “General Administration“ (LL.B.), “Social Administration“ (LL.B.), as well as “Social Insurance“ (LL.B.). At Master’s level, FHSV Meißen provides the study program “Public Governance“ (M.Sc.). All applicants must undergo a selection procedure. The Advanced Training Center provides advanced training programs for state administration servants.
