The four-semester part-time study program ``Bachelor of Science in Applied Nursing Science`` offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences is suitable for trained caregivers with a prior experience who want to further develop their scientific knowledge in the field. This course of study enables students to improve present nursing science knowledge and to objectively and reflexively cope with theoretical and practical information. Therefore, they improve their ability to assess complicated care and supply needs in all health care setting and to contribute to quality improvement. As the classes are in form of block weeks, students don’t need to stop working. Students gain knowledge in the basics of nursing science and supply, academic nursing as a profession in health care and etc. Upon successful completion, graduates of the program are qualified to use their technical and methodological skills to assist patients and their families with treatment, guidance and support and do many more interesting tasks that are part of the nursing science area.
