The part-time study program ``Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Education`` offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences has a special course of study for state-recognized educators, which lasts five or six semesters. The emphasis of the program is the interlinking of theory and practice. Students will be coping with performance problems from the day-to-day job in particular. Furthermore, students will gain thorough understanding focused on existing educational debates, as well as specific practical information to help them improve their organizational and management competencies. Graduates of the program are active in leadership and management functions in day-care centres, pedagogical and advisory activities in day-care centres, family centres, and etc.
