The five-semester part-time study program “Master of Science in Healthcare Research and Management” offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences is suitable for graduated students in the areas of health and nursing science, social sciences, management in health care and etc. The course of study provides students with a solid education in the health services research and management area. As a result of the program, students will be better prepared to identify and analyse the needs for care in the healthcare system using techniques, as well as to create, organize, conduct, assess, and execute methods-based innovations for direct care. A distinguishing feature of the program is the three-semester project phase, which can be done in collaboration with research institution or employers form the care area. Topics that will be addressed in the classes are quality and patient safety research, project management, medical controlling, medical law, and etc. Graduates of the program work in hospitals, care facilities, health and social policy institutions, and etc.
