The further training “Music – Artistic Practice and Educational Perspectives” offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences provides students with knowledge about the integration of music in everyday life in day-care centres in different ways. Moreover, the training will teach participants how classical music can also be incorporated, so as to children to have an active access to it. The program is created in cooperation with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB). Throughout the module, students will get an understanding of the many job fields of professional musicians, as well as they will get the chance to interact with them in the context of orchestral rehearsals and daycare concerts. The development of students` individual pedagogical positions and thoughtful mindset is the course`s aim. Some of the topics that are addressed are educational therapy, kita as a learning institution, systemic thinking, methods of music mediation and music perception, etc.
