The five-semester part-time study program ``Bachelor of Arts in Nursing Management and Organizational Knowledge`` offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences is suitable for nurse with a prior experience in the area of management and who want to become qualified in the middle and higher management field. As the classes are in form of block weeks, students don’t need to stop working. The emphasis is on processing management-related expert knowledge and its practical application, taking into consideration understanding of nursing science in order students to be qualified for the associated challenging duties in their future jobs. The central points of the program fall on leadership and leadership knowledge, nursing economy, nursing management and organizational knowledge. As the program is very practiced-oriented, a special focus is put on various nursing fields of activity such as hospitals. Graduates of the program are active in the areas of organizational development, quality assurance, personnel management, and others.
