The seven-semester dual program ``Bachelor of Arts in Social Work” offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences allows students to mix theory and practice intensively, helping them to obtain useful career knowledge while still in university. The fields of practice are very extensive, ranging from family counselling to handicapped support. Throughout the program, students will learn how to help people in various life circumstances in order to enable them to live a socially connected life. The curriculum is compound of three main parts: the basic course, the postgraduate course and the final one. Students develop professional skills and knowledge when working, which they can draw on during the studies. Some of the topics which will be addressed in the classes are psychology and sociology, international social work and etc. Graduates of the program are active in the fields of educational counselling, school social work, home education, refugee work and other relevant spheres.
