The five-semester part-time study program “Master of Arts in Social Work – Focus on Child and Youth Welfare`` offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences provides students with an education related to the institutions and organizations in child and youth welfare, and more specifically how they cope with the pressures of digitalization and globalization, as well as the increasingly complicated dangerous and risk circumstances that young people face. The program` s target group are people who have already finished a first educational degree in a relevant discipline and desire to deepen their knowledge in the fields of social work and particularly child and youth welfare. Throughout the course students will gain knowledge and skills in the areas of social work theory, economics, and law. Upon successful completion of the program graduates are qualified to do management activities in child and youth welfare institutions, advisory activities, teaching activities in the area of advanced training, and etc.
