The continuing education program “Theater for Children, Theater with Children” offered by Fliedner University of Applied Sciences has a particular aim, namely to incorporate theater in the education of young children. It is not merely about going to theater shows, but about acting and theatrical potential in the classroom. Participants discover for themselves which styles of theater play are possible and essential with particular age group. Then, their own theatre-pedagogical exercise scripts are created, performed, and analyzed in the group. Moreover, participants will get the chance to improve their cultural-pedagogical abilities.
