Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, founded in 1971 as “Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main“, is a public higher education institution seated in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse. It currently has round about 13,400 students enrolled in Bachelor and Master programs in four faculties: Faculty 1: Architecture, Civil Engineering, Geomatics; Faculty 2: Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty 3: Business and Law, Faculty 4: Health and Social Work. The scope of dual studies comprises the study programs “Applied Biosciences“, “Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies: Electrical Engineering“, as well as “Geoinformation and Municipal Technology“. They include, on the one hand, the continuative Master programs “Urban Agglomerations“, “Aviation and Tourism Management“, “Entrepreneurship & Business Development“, “Master of Healthcare Administration and Contracting“, “Counselling in the Working World – Coaching, Supervision and Counselling“, as well as “Addiction Therapy and Social Management in Addiction Care“. On the other hand, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences offers a number of mostly extra-occupational certification programs in Leadership and Communication, Economy and Management, Health and Social Work, IT and Technology, as well as Engineering. Graduates of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences receive a B.A., B.Eng., B.Sc., LL.B., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., LL.M., or MBA degree.
