The full-time course “Master of Science in Applied Epidemiology” at the Free University of Berlin lasts four semesters. The goal of the program is to impart methods, specialized knowledge, skills and experience to enable students to occupy a professional position in the field of epidemiology. The training is in collaboration with the Robert Koch Institute. Students acquire abilities to develop, implement, and evaluate prevention and intervention strategies to avoid or reduce health threats based on scientific evidence. To apply, candidates should have completed studies in human medicine, good English skills and at least one year of experience in the area.
