The program “Master of Arts in Applied Literary Studies - Contemporary Literature’’ at the Free University of Berlin has a duration of four semesters. The curriculum contains Structures, actors, processes, Contemporary literature and transnationality, Literature mediation, Practical basic qualifications and other modules. Students develop the ability to work independently, learn scientifically different methods and are provided with a seven-week internship in an institution of literary and cultural life. To apply, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies. Graduates could pursue a career in publishing, book trade, media and other prospects.
