The course “Master of Science in Bioinformatics” at the Free University of Berlin lasts four semesters and is conducted in English. The program is a direct response to the continuous paradigm change in medicine and biological sciences. Students acquire in-depth theoretical and practical abilities in biology and computer science. They develop solid analytical and logical abilities, problem-solving skills, command of the language, and assess mathematical methods and models. To apply, candidates must have a university degree and B2 level English language skills.
