The “Bachelor of Science in Biology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Department of Biology, Chemistry, and Pharmacy. As a basic science, Biology is primarily focused on understanding the principles of living systems, and the connection between molecular and organic processes. Participant are expected to examine the relationship between all living organisms in the context of their natural habitat. Among the subjects offered during the study program are Systematic Botany, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry of Plants and Microbiology, Zoology, Ecology, Human Biology and Anthropology, Behavioral Biology, Neurobiology, Molecular Neurobiology, Genetics.
