The “Bachelor of Science in Biology with Teacher Training’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Institute of Biology. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training and Minor subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training. As a basic sciece, Biology explores the principles, connections and the interaction between the living organisms in nature. Students are extected to understand the major laws of the anime system and to translate them into molecular terms. The course is focused on the different structure and processes of single-celled organisms, plants, animals, and humans. Among the major subjects in the study program are: Systematic Botany, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry of Plants and Microbiology, Zoology, Animal Ecology, Ecology, Behavioral Biology, Neurobiology, Genetics. The University and all of its educational partners provide support of the students in the field of their research.
