The “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The study program has a strong background in Mathematics and Physics. The course is carefully crafted in 3 main areas, covering different fields of Chemistry – Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry. Gaining a knowledge of the different chemical reactions gives the participants the possibility to explain the world around them and the laws of its existence. The future graduates are expected to understand fully and deal successfully with spectroscopic methods, effective research, and appropriate databases usage. Additionally, the Chemistry Didactics Department offers the students the opportunity for different internships before their graduation.
