The “Bachelor of Arts in Classical Archaeology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of History and Cultural Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the legacies of the Greek and Roman cultures and is closely related to the Classical Philology. The participant are expected to gain knowledge on the ancient material culture, to analyze different historical phenomenons and to make connections with the modern times. The course combines theory and practice. Students can execute their graduation projects in locations like Italy, Greece, Ukraine, Turkey, and the Eifel region.
