The “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the adaptable software systems, their development, logic and application as well as the impact on the society. During the course, participants are expected to understand, analyze, and even predict the relation between the humans and the computers. The study program is designed with a special focus on the three major fields – Mathematics, Technical Computer Science and Practical Computer Science. A major part of the study program is devoted to the practice with the help of different simulations.
