The course “Master of Education in Computer Science” at the Free University of Berlin has a continuation of four semesters. The program explores fundamental information processing techniques and methods applied to technical, theoretical, and practical computer science. The curriculum incorporates Computer Science Didactics, Didactics of Computer Science - Development, Evaluation and Research, Pedagogical Diagnostics, Learning research project and other modules. Students learn to plan, implement and reflect on lessons based on school and goal-oriented criteria. The program culminates with writing and defending a Master’s thesis.
