The “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Teacher Training’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training and Minor subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training. The study program is primarily focused on the interaction between the human and the computer, and the result of this collaboration on different fields. The interdisciplinary course aims to prepare the participants for real-life situations focusing on a strong theoretical basis. Students are expected to combine theory and practice to master skills like structuring, formalization and mathematization and to apply their knowledge on special models.
