The “Bachelor of Arts in Egyptian Archaeology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of History and Cultural Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the material and spiritual legacies of ancient Egypt. The participant will be introduced to the Egyptian history, religion, and cultural history and will examine closely different monuments, archaeological features, and other non-literary sources. The interdisciplinary study program is related to prehistoric archaeology, ancient history, classical archaeology, and classical philology. The course combines theory and practice in order to provide students with deeper understanding of the Egytian thought.
