The “Bachelor of Arts in Egyptology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of History and Cultural Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the legacies of ancient Egypt while making a strong connection with the present state of the country. It is a culture combining numerous meanings and extensively developed throught the years. The participants are expected not only to gain basic knowledge but also to get familiar with current topics in cultural studies and subjects like Archeology, Philology, History, and Religion.
