Description
The degree course “Master of Arts in Film Studies” at the Free University of Berlin has a duration of four semesters. The program introduces students to the history, aesthetics and the theory of film. The curriculum includes the modules Film analysis and history, Film aesthetics and art/media theory, Specialization I: Method, Specialization II: Theory, Focus module and Research practice. Upon completion of the training, graduates can start a job in the areas of museums, municipal cinemas, festivals, film, television, radio and other career opportunities. The admission to the program is a Bachelor's degree in film studies or an equivalent.
