The “Bachelor of Arts in Galician Language and Literature’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. Being part of the Romance languages, the Galician targets geographically the autonomous region of Galicia in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. The course examines the written and spoken language, the history and the connection with the social and cultural context. The participants have an access to the large Philological Library of the Free University of Berlin and to explore the long opening hours, the good equipment and general conditions.
