The “Bachelor of Arts in German and French Literature and Cultural Studies’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Institute of Romance Languages and Literatures. The course consists of 3 main areas: French Philology with German Studies, German-French Studies, and Law. The study program combines innovative course formats to excel the participants’ intercultural competencies. The future graduates cam benefit from the perfectly equipped Philological Library that offers long opening hours, and a great variety of books for study, and research. The study program includes an additional law subject – Jurisprudence – that focuses in the legal issues in the field of cultural work. The basic academic training in Literature and Linguistics is separated between the universities in Paris and Berlin.
