The study course “Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language: Teaching Cultural Studies” at the Free University of Berlin has a continuation of four semesters. The program concentrates on linguistics, language, literature and culture of the German-speaking world. Students acquire various methods and intercultural abilities and extend their foreign language skills. Furthermore, the training provides students with a semester abroad at a partner university of Free University. The requirement for admission to the course is for students to have a Bachelor's degree in German literature and linguistics.
