Description

The “Master of Arts in German Literature: Focus on Modern Literature” course at the Free University of Berlin has a length of four semesters. The program aims to introduce students to theoretical issues and their historical aspects of Modern Literature. The content of the curriculum is modular and consists of the modules such as Literary theory, aesthetics, poetics, Exemplary Readings - Modern Literature and Epochs and epoch concepts. Students gain and develop methodological and analytical skills to research modern German literature. To apply, applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree focusing on German philology or German studies.
