The “Bachelor of Arts in Greek Language and Literature’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Institute of Greek and Latin Languages and Literatures. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor and Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course examines the general development of the Greek language as well as its Greek dialects and literary languages such as Ionian, Attic, Koiné, Aeolian and Doric. The participants are expected to gain theoretical knowledge of history and culture too. The Bachelor’s program is focus both on literary and non-literary texts while developing the analytical skills of the students. The course include also other disciplines like Myth, Drama, Philosophy, Science, Art, and Religion.
