The “Bachelor of Arts in Greek Language and Literature with Teacher Training’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training and Minor subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training. The course examines the general development of the Greek language as well as its Greek dialects and literary languages such as Ionian, Attic, Koiné, Aeolian and Doric. The participants are expected to gain theoretical knowledge of history and culture too. The Bachelor’s program is focus both on literary and non-literary texts while developing the analytical skills of the graduates. The course include also other disciplines like Myth, Drama, Philosophy, Science, Art, and Religion.
