The “Bachelor of Arts in Greek Literature in Translation’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the Greek literature and introduces the participants to the origins, meanings and the inner connections between the ancient Greek texts. Students examine important prose genres and poetic genres from the archaic and classical periods. The participants have an access to the large Philological Library of Freie Universität Berlin and to explore the long opening hours, the good equipment and general conditions.
