The “Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences’’ study program offered by the Freie University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Medical Faculty Charité - University Medicine Berlin. The multidisciplinary course is perfectly created blend of bio-scientific, human-scientific and social-scientific contents and methods. The graduates will be available to work in some of the many different fields of health sciences in different institutions - health, nursing and accident insurance companies, professional associations, etc. The key focus of the study program is collecting and analyzing health related data; connecting theories and concepts; the design and general function of the health system, and the influence of the society. The course focus is on empirical health research, and key competences in the fields of Biostatistics, Epidemiology.
