The “Bachelor of Arts in History and Cultures of the Middle East’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of History and Cultural Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the history and culture of the Islamic-influenced Near East from antiet to modern times. The interdisciplinary study program will introduce the participants to the different interconnections, development of society, and cultural influence in the specific geographical area. Among the key subjects in the course are: Culture, Politics, Law, Religion, and Ethics. The educational course combines theory and practice, giving students the opportunity to further develop their analytical and research skills.
