The program “Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Japanese Studies” at the Free University of Berlin has a continuation of eight semesters. The course focuses on contemporary Japan but takes into consideration its history, culture and society and concentrates on language. Students acquire different theories, techniques and methods. The training offers a one-year study abroad at a Japanese partner university and an internship in Japan. The course content consists of intensive Japanese language courses, modules on social and cultural studies of Japan.
