Description

The four-semester program “Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies of the Middle East” at the Free University of Berlin is instructed in English. The course encompasses the study range from Iran to the Arabian Peninsula and Morocco. The program enables students to learn and apply new methods that are suited to the diversity of languages, pieces of literature, societies, religions, and cultures in this region. The curriculum includes Arabic Studies, Iranian Studies, Islamic Studies including Islam in Europe, Jewish Studies and more disciplines. To apply for the program, applicants must have a university degree and be proficient in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, Syriac-Aramaic or Turkish to at least B1 level.
