The four-semester “Master of Education in Italian” course at the Free University of Berlin is in Italian and German. The program extends and deepens the knowledge already acquired in the Bachelor's degree, and this has an impact on specialised science, language acquisition, specialised didactics and pedagogical science. Students gain and develop the required competencies for teaching Italian in secondary and grammar schools. The curriculum includes Practical school studies in the subject of Italian, Learner language - Italian, Language in the school context - Italian, Learning research project and more modules. The admission requirement is a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the program.
