Description

The “Bachelor of Arts in Italian Studies’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 7-semester course designed by the Institute of Romance Languages and Literatures. The course is with a strong methodical foundation. It aims at providing students with a deeper understanding of the Italian language in a broader cultural context. The study program offers 3 additional disciplines - Economics and/or Law + History and/or Art History and/or Theater Studies. The interdisciplinary approach gives the participants the possibility to connect the linguistic part of the program with contemporary topics related to Italy and Europe. Except the variety of courses, the Freie University in Berlin provides also numerous guest lecturers of foreign scholars.
