The four-semester course “Master of Arts in Korean Studies/East Asian Studies” at the Free University of Berlin is instructed in English and German. The program focuses on a social science approach to Korea, as well as concentrates on the analysis of gender relations in various social, political, and historical contexts. Students learn to analyze a country's politics, economy and society and consider them in different contexts. The curriculum includes the modules such as Technical language Korean, Social Science Research on Korea and Theories and discourses of Korean studies or theories and discourses in Japanese studies or things present, China.
