The “Bachelor of Arts in Languages of Classical Antiquity: Latin’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on the Latin language and its specifics in terms of grammar, vovabulary and general language skulls. The course is related to other study fields in which the Latin language is a crucial part of - linguistics, literature, cultural studies or history. The participants are expected not only to gain deep theoretical knowledge but also to work independently with different Latin texts, including analysis and translation.
