The “Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teaching’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training and Minor subject in a combi bachelor with teacher training. The course is primarily focused on the implementation of the Mathematics science into school and the way it can be applied by the participants. The subject can take place in many working fields like technology, art, nature and economics. The first part of the educational program is devoted on building solid knowledge base. Additionally, Mathematics introduces the graduates to the creative thinking and the problem-solving approach.
