The course “Master of Science in Media Informatics” at the Free University of Berlin has a duration of four semesters. The program aims to prepare students to develop digital media applications, implement digital media applications and understand their social conditions and implications. The training includes courses in computer science and media technology with social science and communication studies analysis, as well as academic content in media law and media economics. Students develop in-depth knowledge of conditions, structures, processes, contents and effects of medial communication. Graduates can pursue a career in software development, digital media technology, journalism, media and economics.
