The state examination program “Medicine” offered by Free University of Berlin is carried out by the Faculty of Charité - Universitätsmedizin. Its total duration is six years and three months including the state examination. As a science, Medicine is related to the treatment, and prevention of different human deseases. It is primarily focused on the physical wellbeing through expert diagnosis, relevant therapy, and follow-up health care. The Freie University of Berlin has established successful collaborations resulting in numerous partner programs with European universities. Thus, students are able to take part in the ERASMUS program and study abroad for 3-12 months.
