The “Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Latin Language and Literature’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on literary and non-literary Latin pre- and post-medieval texts. The participants are expected to gain knowledge on the Medieval Latin Philology to make connections between all othe humanities and influence the Latin literature has on the society and the world. The subjects in the educational program are divided into two main modules, connected to the Classical Philology - Greek and Latin Philology. Alongside the theory, the program offers opportunity for practical development of the students’ skills.
