Description
The “Master of Science in Meteorology” course at the Free University of Berlin has a duration of four semesters. The program is research-oriented and examines the areas of numeric modelling, theoretical meteorology, weather and climate diagnosis and satellite meteorology. The curriculum includes the subjects such as Models for weather and the environment, Climate variability and models, Theoretical Meteorology, Extreme meteorological events and others. Entrance requirements are a Bachelor's degree in geosciences or physics and a B2 level in English. Graduates can pursue careers at universities and research institutes in meteorology, atmospheric physics, climatology and earth system studies.
