The consecutive four-semester “Master of Arts in Modern Greek Language and Literature” course at the Free University of Berlin and instructed in English, German, Modern Greek. The program expands and deepens the knowledge acquired in the Bachelor’s degree and students gain further academic, methodological, and research-oriented qualifications. The training consists of seven modules, such as Language and style of literary and literary scholarly texts, Perspectives for research in neo-Greek studies, Literature and cultural history of Greece (16th-19th centuries) and Modern Greek literature. To apply, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in the Modern Greek Language and Literature program and proof of English and German skills. Graduates have numerous career prospects in the cultural and educational sectors.
