The “Bachelor of Arts in North American Studies’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by John-F.-Kennedy Institute for North American Studies. It is a study program created in a single variation: Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The course is primarily focused on six basic subjects related to the North Americam Studies - History, Cultural Studies, Literary Studies, Political Science, Sociology, and Economics. The study program is created to offer specialized knowledge of the United States and Canada. The interdisciplinary approach well combines theory and practice, introducing the students to all basic language skills. The University provides the participants with the opportunity to continue their subject-related study locally in the United States or Canada.
