The degree course “Master of Arts in North American Studies” at the Free University of Berlin focuses on historical events, structures, and institutions in North America, which are analyzed and interpreted in their respective cultural, economic, literary, political, and social contexts. The training is four semesters long and taught entirely in English. The course is interdisciplinary and offers students the opportunity to choose two specialization disciplines. Graduates have high-level careers such as experts in politics and policy advice, business and economic advice and other prospects. Application requirements are a Bachelor's degree and a C1 level in English.
