The “Bachelor of Arts in North American Studies’’ study program offered by the Freie University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the John-F.-Kennedy Institute for North American Studies. The interdisciplinary program consists of several successive lectures and specialized courses. Among the three main subject of the Bachelor’s program are History, Literary studies and Economics. John-F.-Kennedy Institute for North American Studies gives the students the opportunity to join different partner programs in United States, Canada, or other countries. The educational rogram in North American Studies aims to deliver both practical and theoretical knowledge, thus helping the graduated to pursue careers in the fields of Politics, Business and Economic Advising, Non-Governmental Organizations, Media and Cultural Institutions, etc.
