The “Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a six-semester course designed by the Department of Philosophy and Humanities. It is a study program created in two variations: Major subject in a combi bachelor and Minor subject in a combi bachelor. The Bachelor’s study program covers all major areas of the practical and theoretical philosophy. The philosophy subject is basically the same since the dawn of this science – it deals with questions. As a central human capability, the thinking itself is also a subject of the Philosophy. Among the key philosophical areas are Epistemology, Hermeneutics, Philosophy of Language, Political Philosophy, Social Philosophy, Anthropology, Aesthetics, etc. The numerous theories are presented throught the readings of major philosophers from the ancient to the modern times; all of them reflecting the real world.
