The “Bachelor of Science in Physics’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Department of Physics. The subject typically examines the connection between the different aspects of the surrounding world as well as the causes and effect of numerous phenomenas. During the educational course the graduates will face the two main branches in Physics – experimental and theoretical Physics. The participants of the study program are expected to conduct experiments, to understand numerical relationships, to make scientifical statements.  The Bachelor’s educational program is strictly science-oriented with a strong focus on mathematics. It combines theory and practice by involving the students into the world of Biophysics, Ultrafast Physics, Quantum Physics, Surface Physics and Nanophysics.
