The “Bachelor of Science in Psychology’’ study program offered by Free University of Berlin is a 6-semester course designed by the Department of Education and Psychology. The course aims to introduce the participants with the human behavior and put it it the contexts of mental, neuronal, as well as – cultural and genetical context. During the examination of the different external and internal factors of the human behavior the students will develop their research methodology and critical thinking. As an empirical science, the discipline aims to describe, explain, and predict numerous mental processes. A certain focus is put on the Modern Psychology too, combining different study areas of the humanities, social, and natural sciences.
